Par exemple, si un scientifique en recherche fondamentale identifie une mutation causant le SLD, un chercheur en recherche translationnelle pourrait explorer comment diff\u00e9rents m\u00e9dicaments ou autres m\u00e9thodes peuvent contrer l&#8217;effet de cette mutation. Si les r\u00e9sultats de sa recherche sont concluants dans des mod\u00e8les cellulaires, des \u00e9chantillons de tissus, ou des animaux, cette \u00e9tude pourra se poursuivre \u00e0 un essai clinique.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En outre, la recherche translationnelle relie \u00e9galement les \u00e9tudes cliniques \u00e0 la vie r\u00e9elle.
